Event Overview
The IEEE EDS YP FET Commemoration event was organized to celebrate 100 years of the Field Effect Transistor (FET) while introducing young professionals and students to the fundamentals and real-world applications of electron devices. The initiative combined technical education with mentorship and industry exposure, creating a focused learning experience aligned with IEEE’s mission of professional development.
Designed specifically for early-career engineers and students interested in electronics and semiconductor technologies, the event connected participants with experienced professionals and researchers working in electronic devices and astrophysical instrumentation.

- Introductory Technical Session
Overview of the IEEE Electron Devices Society and the historical evolution of the Field Effect Transistor. - Focused Mentoring Sessions
