Event Overview

The Mentorship Sessions at the Canadian Students and Young Professionals Congress (CSYP) were designed to provide career-focused guidance, leadership insights, and professional networking for students and early-career professionals across Canada. Delivered as part of one of IEEE Canada’s flagship gatherings, the sessions connected participants with senior professionals from industry and academia, fostering meaningful dialogue around career development in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

The mentoring component was strategically embedded within the broader CSYP program to encourage continuity of engagement, inspire post-graduation involvement in IEEE Young Professionals activities, and strengthen long-term connections between students, YPs, industry, and academia.
