Program Overview:
The IEEE EduMentor Connect Program was launched to foster professional and personal growth for mentors and mentees alike. The program aimed to facilitate mentoring relationships between experienced IEEE Education Society members (mentors) and less experienced members (mentees), offering guidance, advice, and support in various domains, including career development, research, teaching, and leadership.
Milestones and Progress:
Several milestones were identified throughout the program to track progress and assess its effectiveness. These milestones included successful mentor-mentee matching, the initiation of the first meeting, the development of clear goals, regular meetings, completion of training and resources, skill development, career advancement, and program graduation. These markers served as success and growth indicators for mentors and mentees.

The IEEE EduMentor Connect Program yielded an array of benefits for its participants, and the feedback from mentors and mentees was overwhelmingly positive and great. Mentees greatly benefited from the program through enhanced professional development opportunities, including access to valuable guidance, resources, and expertise. Many mentees saw remarkable career advancements, securing new positions or receiving promotions with the invaluable support and advice of their mentors. The program also proved to be an effective networking platform, facilitating the expansion of professional networks for both mentors and mentees, leading to lasting connections within the IEEE Education Society. The IEEE EduMentor Connect Program followed a structured timeline that contributed to its effectiveness and success:

● Release of mentors and mentees: August 09, 2023
● Onboarding Mentors and mentees (Orientation Program): August 19, 2023
● Mentoring program: August 20, 2023, to September 23, 2023
● Closing Program/Valedictory: October 5, 2023
Throughout each phase of the program, participants engaged with enthusiasm and dedication, making each milestone a stepping stone towards their personal and professional growth.
Program Conclusion at the Leadership Summit:
The final connection and culmination of the IEEE EduMentor Connect Program took place at the IEEE Education Society Leadership Summit. Mentors and mentees had the opportunity to reflect on their mentoring relationships, celebrate their accomplishments, and discuss their plans. The Leadership Summit provided an ideal platform to acknowledge the growth and success achieved through meaningful mentoring relationships. It exemplified the power of mentoring relationships in fostering growth, learning, and career development within the IEEE Education Society.
